Gene Sullivan, B.Ed., N.D., G. Thr., is a sensitive and engaging doctor who has trained widely in the practice of naturopathic medicine. He is licensed to practice in the province of Ontario and is a member in good standing of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). Gene comes to the healing arts with an extensive background in education, teaching and training at all levels in English and French. He has delivered over 700 workshops and seminars on a wide range of topics in education and health care. This experience informs all aspects of his practice.
Gene received a doctorate of naturopathic medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto and the designation of Gestalt Therapist from the Gestalt Institute of Toronto's Post-Graduate program. He understands the importance of communicating clear and relevant information to his patients to support the healing process and a return to optimal health. He places special importance on the doctor-patient relationship and in empowering his patients to more effectively manage their own health.
He has trained in numerous therapies including NLP, Auricular Medicine and Drainage, and German Biological Medicine. He continues to learn and regularly attends lectures and seminars on health-related and other topics. Gene's practice focuses on chronic conditions of all ages, whether physical or emotional in origin. In addition to his practice, he is available for training on health-related topics for institutions and business groups. Gene is bilingual in English and French.
